What each month's check looks like

The same checks every month, on your domains. Here they are on our own, from public DNS.

DNS check: autonomicsai.inChecked from public DNS, 5 November 2026
  1. SPF

One record: v=spf1 include:_spf.mx.cloudflare.net include:_spf.google.com ~all. 2 DNS lookups, well under the limit of 10.

    Fine
  2. DKIM

Two 2048-bit keys: Cloudflare's at cf2024-1._domainkey (forwarding and notices) and our sending provider's at resend._domainkey (customer emails and our own mail). Test messages show DKIM pass, signed as autonomicsai.in.

    Fine
  3. Tidy-up

SPF still includes _spf.google.com, but nothing sends through Google for this domain any more.

    Tidy

FixRemove the Google include from SPF.

  4. DMARC

v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; rua=mailto:sean@autonomicsai.in; adkim=r; aspf=r. Moved from p=none on 5 Nov after confirming every sender is signed: receivers now put mail that fails into spam.

    Fine

The free DNS check, run on our own domain and shown as you would get it, from public DNS on 5 November 2026. Read the full sample report.

What you get

  • A free DNS check first. We look up the public SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for your sending domain and email you what's there and what's missing. Public DNS only, so we need no access for it.
  • A monthly authentication check. SPF includes every service that sends as you and stays under the 10-lookup limit, each service signs with DKIM, and DMARC alignment and policy are still right after any tool you added.
  • A monthly blocklist check of your domain and sending IP addresses against the main public blocklists, including Spamhaus. If you're listed, we tell you which list, the usual cause and the removal steps. Removal is up to the list owner.
  • DMARC reports read for you, once a reporting address is set up (we help with that in the first month), with a plan for tightening the policy a step at a time.
  • Your sending numbers reviewed: bounces, spam complaints and daily volume per mailbox, against a ramp plan for any new mailbox. We flag a rising hard-bounce rate before it becomes a problem.
  • Fixes written up as the exact DNS records and settings to change. If you give us edit access to your DNS, we make the DNS changes ourselves.
  • A short monthly note: what we checked, what changed, what to fix and what we suggest for next month. If a check finds something urgent, like a blocklisting, we tell you that day instead of waiting for the note.

What we need from you

  • The domain you send from, and a list of every service that sends email as you: mailbox provider, marketing tool, CRM, help desk and billing system.
  • Read access to your DNS, or edit access if you want us to make the DNS changes.
  • Your sending numbers each month, per mailbox if you have them: sends, bounces and spam complaints. Read-only access to the sending tool works too.
  • One person who tells us when you add or change a sending tool.

We never need a password. Where a tool allows it, add us as a read-only user. You add us as a user on your accounts. We never take ownership of an account, and you can remove our access whenever you like.

How it goes

  1. Today

You send the form with your sending domain.

  2. Within 1 business day

The free DNS check arrives by email: what your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records say, and what's missing.

  3. You say go

We send a statement of work and the first month's invoice. Management is $1,500 a month, paid at the start of each month ($1,000 a month for founding clients' first 3 months).

  4. Week 1

We get access, run the first full check and send you the first fix list, most urgent first.

  5. Each month after

The checks, the DMARC reports, the sending-number review and the monthly note. Urgent findings come to you the day we see them.

What's not included

  • Writing or running your email campaigns, or managing your sales team's sending.
  • More than one sending domain. Each extra domain is quoted before we start.
  • Changing settings inside your mailbox or marketing tools. We write the exact steps and you or your admin make them. We only make DNS changes, and only if you give us DNS access.
  • Paid address verification services. We check syntax, duplicates, role addresses and whether a domain can receive mail.
  • A promise of inbox placement or open rates. Mailbox providers decide that, and nobody honest can promise it.
  • Getting you off a blocklist. We give the steps, but removal is up to the list owner.

Why we can do this

We built our own outreach tool for our sales email, and the rules in it are the ones this audit checks: each mailbox is capped at 20 emails a day, a new mailbox starts at 5 a day and ramps up over about three weeks, every email carries an unsubscribe header and line, one suppression list covers every campaign, and a mailbox pauses itself if hard bounces go over 2%. It's in-house work, not client work, so instead of client results we show you the work: the sample report on our own three domains, in the same format you'd get.

What you can check before you pay

No client results yet, so here's what you can check before you pay:

Founding price: $1,000/month for your first 3 months, then $1,500/month. Only the first 2 retainer clients get it (the docs and deliverability retainers share the 2 places): 2 of 2 founding places left. No testimonial is needed. We only write a case study if you choose to.

All prices in US dollars. We take on at most two retainers at a time (docs and deliverability together), so the work gets done by the person you talk to. How you pay.

Before you pay, read the refund and cancellation policy, the service delivery policy and the terms of service.

What you risk: nothing for the DNS check, which is free and needs no access. The retainer is a fixed price you see before you pay, with a 3-month minimum and 30 days' notice after that. We never promise inbox placement.

Questions people ask first

What does it cost?

The DNS check is free. Management is $1,500 a month, paid at the start of each month, with a 3-month minimum and then 30 days' notice to cancel. The first 2 retainer clients pay $1,000 a month for their first 3 months.

Do I need the audit first?

No. The free DNS check is the first step either way. The audit is a deeper one-off look, and its $750 comes off the first retainer invoice if you start within 30 days of getting the report.

How is this different from the audit?

The audit is a single full check with a written fix list. Management repeats the important checks every month, reads your DMARC reports and watches your sending numbers, because bounces, complaints and blocklistings change month to month.

Will this keep us out of spam?

We can't promise that. Gmail, Outlook and the other providers decide where mail lands. What we do is find and flag the problems that are in your control, early, with the fix for each.

Is the founding price real?

Yes. It's $1,000/month for the first 3 months for the first 2 retainer clients, and the counter on this page shows how many places are left. After 3 months it's $1,500/month. We don't ask for a testimonial in return.

Who are you?
