Guide / Sending rules
Sending rules
- Caps. 20 emails per mailbox per day by default, plus a daily cap shared by every campaign. New mailboxes ramp up from
warmup.start_date: 5 a day, then 3 more every 3 days. - Spacing. A random gap of 3 to 8 minutes per mailbox, only inside
sending.window(weekdays 09:00 to 17:30 by default). Settimezoneto your market's. - Suppression. One list shared by every campaign and mailbox, checked when drafting, when approving and again right before sending.
- Plain text only. No tracking pixels, and at most one link in the body.
What you get
- A free outline first. From your public site, a proposed contents list for your docs: the sections, the pages and what each one answers.
- A structure you approve before we write anything, so the pages fit how your customers look for help.
- The docs site, set up on the platform you already pay for or on a free open-source one, at an address like docs.yourproduct.com, with search, navigation, your logo and your colours.
- A quickstart that takes a new user from sign-up to their first result. We test it by following it on a fresh account.
- Up to 15 pages in total, including the quickstart: how-to guides, concept pages and troubleshooting for your main features.
- API reference, if you have an OpenAPI file: generated from it, with an authentication example and three common requests we run against your test account.
- A changelog page with a template, and a short style guide so the next pages your team writes match.
- A handover: everything in your account, written steps for publishing a change, and fixes for 30 days after you accept it.
What we need from you
- A test account with the main features turned on.
- One technical person who answers our questions and checks drafts, about an hour a week.
- Your logo and colours, and the address you want the docs on.
- Your OpenAPI file, if you have an API.
- Anything you've already written: help articles, onboarding emails, old docs, internal notes.
The docs site and its hosting are in your name from day one. You add us as a user on your accounts. We never take ownership of an account, and you can remove our access whenever you like.
How it goes
- Today
You send the form with your product website.
- Within 1 business day
The free outline arrives by email.
- You say go
We send a statement of work and the first invoice. The $3,000 package is paid half up front and half on delivery.
- Week 1
Access and the test account arrive, and the 4-week clock starts. We use the product and send you the structure to approve.
- Week 2
The site is set up and the quickstart is written and tested.
- Weeks 3 to 4
The rest of the pages, the API reference and the style guide. Your technical person checks each one, with two rounds of changes per page. The clock pauses while drafts wait for review.
- Week 4 at the latest
Live. We hand over and send the second invoice.
- 30 days after
Anything that doesn't match the statement of work, we fix. If you want the docs kept up after that, there's the monthly retainer.
What's not included
- More than 15 pages. Extra pages are quoted first.
- A custom-designed docs site. We use the platform's theme with your logo and colours.
- Writing an OpenAPI file from your code, or SDK guides for each programming language. Our API examples use plain HTTP requests.
- Translations, video tutorials and marketing pages.
- Fees for a paid docs platform. Those are billed to you by the platform.
- Upkeep after the 30 days of fixes. That's the $1,500/month retainer, if you want it.
What we've written so far
Most of what we write for ourselves is documentation: setup guides, command references and plain "what doesn't work yet" lists for our own tools. The guide for our outreach tool runs to about 490 lines and covers setup, every command, the safety rules and what we haven't verified. That's in-house work, not client work, so judge the writing itself: ask for a page of it along with your free outline or review.
What you can check before you pay
No docs clients yet, so here's what you can check before you pay:
- The free outline is built from your own public site, so you judge the work on your product first.
- A page of our own writing: ask with the outline and we send a page of our outreach tool's guide.
- Fixed terms. $3,000, half up front, and 30 days of fixes after handover. The first 2 launch clients pay $2,250, with no testimonial required.

Questions people ask first
What does it cost?
The outline is free. The launch package is $3,000, fixed, half up front and half on delivery. The first 2 clients pay the founding price of $2,250.
Which docs platform do you use?
The one you already have, if it works for you. If you have none, we suggest a free open-source one, so there's no monthly platform fee. We tell you the trade-offs before you pick.
What if four weeks isn't enough?
The clock pauses while a draft waits for your review, and the statement of work says what counts as finished. If the delay is on our side, we say so and tell you the new date.
Who owns the docs?
You do. The site, the hosting and every page are in your account, and the pages are yours once the package is paid.
Do you use AI to write the docs?
For first drafts, yes. Then a person follows every step in your product and runs every example before it reaches your reviewer. We'll tell you which pages started as AI drafts.
Who are you?
Autonomics AI is the trading name of AutonomicsAI LLP, registered in India (LLPIN ADA-5258). It's a small studio, so you deal with Sean Solano Paul, the person doing the work. More about us.
Where are you based?
Bangalore, India. We work in US dollars with businesses in the US and elsewhere, and keep US business hours by arrangement, so a call at 10 am your time is fine if you book it. Email gets a reply within one business day, Monday to Friday.
Can I talk to someone?
Yes. Use the contact form or email hello@autonomicsai.in, and suggest two times for a 15-minute call. You'll talk to Sean. Nobody will call you unless you ask.
